Boy oh boy

While I sometimes bemoan my lack of feminine charms I will admit that sometimes it is handy not to have much going on in the bust or a butt area. I was reminded of this as I finished my shower after a long swimming session yesterday and went to dry myself, only to remember that I had left my towel in the laundry ... ie it was not in my swimming bag. At all. Now if my cups had runneth over, this would have presented something of a problem, but as I'm a cup-not-even-a quarter-full kind of gal, I simply got out my handkerchief and dried my entire self with that. And let me tell you, the hanky wasn't even very big. Sigh.

Oh, and another good thing about having the body of a 12-year-old boy is that I can wear 12-year-old boy jackets that I find at op shops for $2.50.
Like this one, which has a Sears label on it indicating it is for boys of age 12. Not for women in their 30s. But if you don't tell them, I won't either.

  1. i fit into boy's jackets too. I have this great leather one i got from an op-shop in London years ago and it is still mny favourite jacket. yours is nice too.

  2. You lack feminine charms? What, on your Pandora ;) bracelet? ...because everywhere else, eg. you, you're packing heat.

    Okay, I'm not as tiny as you, I'm not tiny at all, I'm a 10 with a B-C fluctuating cup...but... I often trawl the kids section for cool tees!! Also have found some cool jackets in op-shops, a really lovely fur 'chubby'...twas a child's, on me it looked like a short-sleeve crop jacket.
    Have sold it now, if I had 'known' you sooner, would have sent it to you.

    By the way... the Pandora thing... I remember reading a post abut how you feel about Pandora bracelets, which is how I feel about Pandora bracelets and not a breath of bogan will be whispered about it...

  5. That's a great jacket. Awww, work with what ya got, I say. I had a boys duffel. A wee little French one that I loved. The sleeves were just the right length. Practically everything made for me 36-year-old arms is too long.

  6. aww thanks everyone... I sometimes shop in the kids' section and have been known to wear girls' size 12 undies cos they are cheaper than women's! (one of my tight-arse tips..oops, no pun intended)
    Clare, why do I need a grifter?? Is this the sort of jacket that grifters wear? I would have thought it was more like a lumberjack's jacket...

  9. Don't worry... there is only one comment! White lace could work, plus I can go pin some on right now! I didn't realise it was possible to make a boy's jacket work, though kids clothes are possible, but, unfortunatley don't fit me anymore. Great for you, though :)
